The Isle of Skye is renowned for its beauty and of course its mountains. Julia has portrayed this wintry scene by using deep colours of blue and green that offset the snow on the hillside perfectly. The technique she has used for the trees in the foreground adds atmosphere to the scene.

Painted with Windsor & Newton professional watercolours on Archers 300gsm cold-pressed cotton paper. Mounted with a cream mount.
