Each bottle opener begins with a carefully selected piece of wood, in this case mahogany, mounted securely on the lathe. As the wood spins, it’s expertly shaped with a sharp chisle, gradually taking form through precise and patient craftsmanship. The piece is then refined through sanding and polishing, bringing out the natural warmth and grain of the wood. Finally, a protective coat of Odie’s Oil is applied, and the chrome opener is attached, compleing a tool that is as practical as it is beautiful.
