Glen Affric is one of Scotland’s Nature Reserves and is home to original Caledonian Forests. This amazing place provides Julia Anne with plenty of inspiration for her watercolour landscapes.

This painting is of Loch Beinn a Mheadhoin a favourite place for canoeing, wild swimming and paddle boarding. As usual Julia has used deep blues to bring out the depth of the colours of both the loch and its surrounding forests.

Painted with Winsor & Newton professional grade watercolours on Saunders Waterford 600gsm cold pressed cotton paper. Mounted with Ivory Mount.
