Behind the Art: Elizabeth's Creative Process

Elizabeth Griffin's Art Desk
The Ink Drawings

Liz begins by sketching the outline in pencil, capturing the deer’s form.  She then adds the details using ink to create the silhouetted designs, filling in the bold antlers on one and the body on the other.   Liz uses a Derwent Precision pencil and Faber-Castell pens on professional watercolour paper. Liz creates these striking cards that beautifully portray the character of these majestic animals.

Sustainable Materials: Recycled Card & Paper

Our Art cards are crafted using high-quality 140 x 140mm square card blanks, made in the UK from recycled paper.  Each one is paired with a matching recycled envelope, ensuring the entire product is eco-conscious from start to finish.  To protect the cards, they are sealed in a vegetable starch wrap that is fully biodegradable and suitable for home and industrial composting.
