Lavender, Rosemary & Rose Geranium: Our Organic Essential Oils explained
Organic Lavender Essential Oil – Lavandula angustifolia herb oil.
Lavender’s long history in therapeutic medicine, fragrances, and cosmetics is legendary. Lavender Essential Oil is soothing, promotes sleep, and is generally safe for all skin types. The plant is grown in southern France, renowned for its lavender fields. The herb is then steam distilled to produce the essential oil well known for its beautiful aroma. With this in mind, we had to include Lavender Oil in our hand soap.
Organic Rosemary Essential Oil – Rosmarinus officinalis leaf oil.
We love Rosemary Essential Oil for its therapeutic properties. Our organic Rosemary essential oil is steam-distilled from the evergreen stems of this famous herb. Rosemary is known for its anti-inflammatory properties that help to calm and soothe. Because of these qualities, this beautiful-smelling herb earned its place in our soaps and shampoos.
Organic Rose Geranium Essential Oil – Pelargonium graveolens flower oil.
The Rose Geranium oil provides the delicate floral scent in our hand soap. Our organic Rose Geranium Essential Oil is steam distilled from the leaves, stalks, and flowers of the geranium plant. Because the whole plant is used to produce this ingredient, it ticks the right ethical boxes for us. Rose Geranium is a beautiful oil that is reviving and uplifting.
